

Eirini Krikoni is a greek violinst born in 1995. She started her studies in music early, always seeking for joy and expression. In 2017 She completed her Bachelor studies with honors at the department of Art and Science of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki in Violin Solo Performance under the tutelage of prof. Dimitris Chandrakis. Since 2018, she has been living in Vienna, after completing her master's degree in contemporary classical music in 2021 at the University of Music and Performing Arts, studying under prof. Annette Bik. She has participated in many contemporary and classical music festivals, such as Musiktheatertage Wien, Wien Modern, Euro Classics e.t.c. and has received numerous awards. She was a scholarship recipient of the Foundation for Education and European Culture (2019–2021) and the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture of Austria (2024). One of her main interests in music is to be active within the new generation of composers. Eirini Krikoni is a founding member of the Oros Ensemble, the Punctum Collective and the Oxymoron Duet.
